However, the universe will send her an unexpected quest, and a mystery that follows her home to Elmwood, SD. Once the twists and turns started, it was hard to put the book down. Is it the unexpected visitor, the eclectic friend, the jealous co-worker, or the former love interest? Is it for the money or jewels? Once I thought I figured out the mystery, an unexpected ending left me wanting more. This is the 7th book in the University Mystery Series, and I can’t wait to see what adventure Marlee McCabe brings me on next time.
5 out of 5 stars fun romp December 17, 2019 I love her writing style in these books; a bit of romance, lots of fun, all rolled up in a keep you guessing mystery. This one also is based on overseas travel, and she brings the mystery home to Elmwood. Her books are current day fun, with lots of plot twists. This one was a 'I can't put it down' book all the way to the end... and an end I could have suspected but didn't! Love your work Brenda Donelan.. MORE please!
5 out of 5 stars What a fun book! December 17, 2019 Donelan did it again - she wrote another fun, interesting, fast paced novel. I love her character descriptions especially. Once you pick up one of these mysteries you don’t want to put it down!
