5 out of 5 stars
Brenda's latest book is amazing.

Brenda's latest book is amazing. She was able to take a "cozy mystery" and deal with such issues as racism, women's rights, and cultural differences! Way to go Brenda! The intrigue was captivating until the very last page!

5 out of 5 stars  Entertaining Read!

Blood Feud did not disappoint, other than it pulled me in so far that I read it at a break neck speed and was disappointed when I reached the end! The University Mystery series is one of my favorites. The characters are so relatable to me. Thanks for bringing Marlee McCabe to life. She's a person I'd like to know and spend time with. I also enjoyed learning more about the culture of India - when a book can entertain me as well as educate me on a new topic, it's a home run. Now I'm back to waiting for book number 7.

5 out of 5 stars I have enjoyed Donelan's previous books in the University series

WOW! I have enjoyed Donelan's previous books in the University series, but this one really takes the cake. This was really tough to put down. I kept thinking, "Oh my stars Marlee, what are you going to do?" The suspense is heightened due to the fact that Marlee was a stranger in a country where she only knew ONE person! Completely out of her comfort zone of the Midwest. Donelan did a great job of describing the culture shock she felt and the social issues that plague women in India yet today. There are also some amazing accounts of the more traditional and opulent Indian heritage. Blood Feud should be in everyone's beach bag this summer. As usual this author delivers those classic elements of mystery, a gutsy protagonist, and lots of laughs. Learning and Laughter for sure in Blood Feud! Enjoy....I sure did!
