Reviews from Readers: Art of Deception 5 out of 5 stars Fans of Cozy Mysteries: I Recommend The University Mystery Series August 2, 2016 Readers of "cozy mysteries" who have yet to discover author Brenda Donelan’s page-turners, featuring sassy amateur detective, Professor Marlee McCabe, are in for a treat with this fourth installment of the University Mystery Series. Supported by a now familiar cast of supportive but chaotically disorganized female friends and one lazy, entitled cat, Marlee is drawn back into action when kooky, trouble-prone cousin Bridget is accused of stealing a priceless vase from a university art show. As Marlee ping-pongs through a series of fortuitously productive clue-collecting adventures, two handsome, competitive male suitors vie for her attention. The result: a perfect concoction of taut, pleasurable puzzle solving, sly character observation, and awkwardly relatable romance--everything you could want in a cozy mystery. I'm a fan!

5 out of 5 stars A mystery that will keep you guessing April 9, 2017 A very enjoyable mystery with wonderful dialog and some fascinating oddball characters. The heroine is a college professor turned sleuth who is as busy balancing her two love interests as she is juggling her teaching career and her amateur detective work. A fun read that will keep you guessing. I would like to read more books by this author!
